God directs his wrath against the wealthy and powerful for building their wealth by oppressing the poor. To make it worse, they use there wealth to seek personal pleasure instead of learning more about God's wonderful creations.

You are correct about those bound to evil they can’t get out of it and at some point you can’t even see what’s happening to you I think
