Saul Weinreb - Let the Prophets Speak

Three kingdoms ally themselves and set out to pout down a Moabite rebellion. However, they run into a logistical problem that forces them to ask the prophet Elisha for help.

Elijah's disciple Elisha follows in his master's footsteps.  We are impressed by his miracles, but troubled by his wrath.

We read of the ascent of Elijah "into the heavens" and the end of his remarkable "first" career.

King Ahaziah falls ill and he sends messengers to a Phillistine god.  Elijah is sent to let him know that he should've petitioned the God of Israel. Ahaziah thus meets an untimely end.

Ahab tries unsuccessfully to escape the prophecy regarding his death, but he dies a heroic death in battle.  Yehoshaphat's attempt at reuniting the kingdom has mixed results, and the next generation of leaders take their place.

Ahab wants to go to war, and all of his "yes-men" tell him what he wants to hear.  However the prophet Michayahu doesn't tow the line.  The "ghost" of Navoth is going to take his revenge.

Elijah delivers a harsh prophecy regarding the future of Ahab and his family, and Ahab in humbled, but not for long.

Ahab wants a nice vineyard, and he the owner Navot doesn't want to sell. Jezebel arranges for the murder of the innocent Navot in a despicable act of thievery.

Ahab wins another stunning victory against Ben-Hadad, only this time he makes a grave error.

Ben-Hadad of Aram leads a massive attack against Israel, and Ahab follows the advice of a prophet of God and leads the people to a surprising and daring victory.
